- Carry out real mechanical design and CAD tasks on your own Mac

- Help a leading AI lab benchmark its models on engineering design work
02 · Requirements
What they ask for
- Your own Mac with an Apple M-series or Intel chip, running macOS 15 or later
- A mechanical engineering degree, or one in a related field, and hands-on experience modeling and drafting in 3D
- Skill with Mac CAD tools such as Fusion 360, Onshape, Shapr3D or FreeCAD
- Current or recent master's study, or two to three years of relevant experience plus a bachelor's degree from a highly regarded institution
- Strong written and spoken communication

- Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Ability to start immediately

Who can apply
Remote. The listing does not name eligible countries, so Mercor's own rules decide: it can only onboard people in countries its payments support, which in October 2026 included Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Egypt but not Kenya.
